Abu Dhabi chosen to host world’s largest food exhibition
 
ADNEC, Abu Dhabi’s National Exhibition Centre has been chosen to host the first edition of SIAL Middle East. To be held from 22-24 November 2010, SIAL Middle East will bring together professionals involved in buying and selling food products, services and equipment to see new ideas, innovations and to do domestic and international business.
 
SIAL, one the world’s leading trade exhibitions for all those involved in the food industry, was created in 1964. Held every two years in Paris, it attracts more than 140,000 visitors from 185 countries who come to meet over 5,500 exhibitors from 101 countries.
 
Held in association with IPA - the region's premier food processing and packaging exhibition - SIAL Middle East will be the latest event to join the SIAL network of exhibitions which are presently held in Paris, Shanghai, Montreal and Buenos Aires.
