Turret Vision is the film and television production arm of Turret Media. It is a full-service video production
company that is a regional leader in high-end episodic television, TVC, corporate video, documentary, event coverage, and In Flight Entertainment (IFE) content production; with offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Media City; creating professional local and regional content with international appeal; working in English and Arabic.
We tell stories that engage an international audience. To that end we work with the some of the most talented professionals in the region, and we continue to push the perceived limits of local and regional content creation.

- Corporate video: we offer bespoke video services for organisations – corporate profiles, CEO interviews, training films, industrial video services
- Television shows: we have collectively produced over 130 hours of TV; our shows have aired on OSN, OSN Sports, Spike TV, Dubai One, Abu Dhabi TV, Al Emarat, Infinity, and Al Hurrah. We are currently developing a number of propositions for 2012/2013 shows
- Television commercials: we have developed, produced and directed TV spots for a wide base of clients and budgets – from one-day shoots for local Food and Beverage outlets to major productions involving multiple cameras, helicopters, and 400+ extras
- Event audio/visual management and coverage: we have provided comprehensive coverage for many exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences and other events – from opening day documentaries and closing night highlight reels to press conference coverage for networks and full on-site live A/V production
- Documentaries: we understand how to script, film and produce a powerful documentary. Our experience includes a feature length film on post-Katrina humanitarian efforts in New Orleans, the story of bringing the Ultimate Fighting Championship to the Middle East, and a feature length exploration of Buddhism that includes an exclusive interview with the Dalai Lama
- In flight entertainment: our In Flight Entertainment magazines currently play on the flights of Etihad Airways and Oman Air, with more airline clients under development. Abu Dhabi Week TV, which has been aired on Etihad flights since Sep 2010, was recently rated the 9th most viewed show on Etihad E-Box system, outscoring many big-name blockbuster movies – and it was the only programme in the top 25 that was not a first-run Hollywood movie.
John Sammon: Executive Producer, Director
John has directed and produced many TV commercials (including spots for The Yas Hotel, Beach Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi Police, and The UAE Presidential Guard) and over 45 hours of televised content for local, pan-Arab, and international distribution. In 2010, John directed and produced five episodes of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge (airing on OSN) and a 45-minute documentary for American and Pan-Arab television audiences on the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC 112) in Abu Dhabi. He is currently the Executive Producer of the “Abu Dhabi Week TV” and “Destination Oman” magazine shows for Etihad Airways and Oman Air, respectively.
John has directed and supervised the opening of nine new film schools internationally, including institutions located at Harvard University, Oxford University, Milan, Florence, Sardinia, and Budapest, and the New York Film Academy–Abu Dhabi.
