In association with the Abu Dhabi Ports Company, the inaugural
World Ports and Trade Summit is being launched in Abu Dhabi to deliver the world's largest information exchange on the future of ports and shipping. The Word Ports and Trade summit will present some of the most ambitious projects ever attempted.
The UAE is already home to the world's largest man-made port (Jebel Ali). Abu Dhabi now has grand designs in place for Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone which it expects will deliver 9% of Abu Dhabi's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) when completed. It will be a best practice example of port development as an enabler for development and as a contributor to economic diversification and growth.

- Hosted tours of Khalifa Port, the Industrial Zone and other port facilities in the UAE will bring projects to life and let attendees meet people at the forefront of these developments
- A programme of receptions and dinners will provide a vital networking opportunity for participants to meet and relax outside of the exhibition centre
