The inaugural Taste of Dubai event, 6th – 9th February 2008, was hailed as a resounding success by visitors, the media, the participating restaurants, exhibitors and sponsors. Attracting some 10,000 visitors over six sessions, Taste of Dubai brought a new dimension to outdoor events in the UAE and left all those involved with an appetite for more.
The stunning setting of Dubai Media City’s Amphitheatre and Park Grounds provided the perfect location for food lovers and gourmets to dine at a selection of the city’s top restaurants, browse around the fine food market and relax to a varied programme of live entertainment.

Celebrity chefs in action at the MWF Chefs Theatre World famous chefs including Antony Worrall Thompson, Sanjeev Kapoor and Gary Rhodes were displaying their culinary skills and displaying their cooking techniques throughout the 4 days.
Over 40 signature dishes served by the 14 restaurants Visitors discovered a range of local and international cuisines with a varying choice of starters, mains and desserts from each restaurant. Click here for a flavour of the dishes that were on offer.
